St Margaret’s CE Primary School in Angmering received £200 worth of equipment from Bellway, which is currently building 173 new homes nearby at its Langmead Place development.
The donation has enabled the school to replace worn-out tools and buy new items such as nets, magnifying glass pots and digging forks.
George Lumley, headteacher at St Margaret’s CE Primary School, said: "Our Forest School is an area designed to support children’s learning through outdoor exploration and discovery in a natural environment.
Bellway’s Langmead Place scheme, located off Water Lane in Angmering, will consist of 120 private homes and 53 affordable properties.
Jon Rance, sales manager for Bellway Wessex, said: "Supporting the local community is extremely important to us and we are pleased to have formed an ongoing relationship with St Margaret’s CE Primary School."
