West Sussex County Council’s Highway Ranger pilot, intended to address everyday issues that can make neighbourhoods appear untidy or neglected, began on August 3 in Worthing. "The Highway Ranger pilot builds on the excellent work already carried out by town and parish councils, district and borough partners, community groups and volunteers across West Sussex. "The dedicated Highway Ranger teams will provide additional support by addressing small-scale highway maintenance and street scene issues identified through local councils, elected members, partner organisations, residents and routine inspections.
