Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints across the world have worked in recent months to facilitate donations of equipment and educational support for children and adults with disabilities. In El Salvador, the Church worked with the Teletón Pro-Rehabilitation Association to donate 228 wheelchairs and 340 mobility devices to individuals on Tuesday, July 14, in San Salvador. The donation included 26 standard adult wheelchairs, 34 active pediatric wheelchairs, 38 active adult wheelchairs, 110 pediatric support wheelchairs, 20 all-terrain wheelchairs and 340 mobility devices, including walkers, canes and other support equipment.
