SAVANNAH, N.Y. — A man from the Town of Savannah is in custody and faces rape charges. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says Donald Allen, 44, was at his house with a woman when he got drunk and starting punching and choking her. During this, deputies say Allen forced himself on the woman and sexually assaulted her, despite her telling him, “No,” and trying to push him off. Deputies say this happened on August 1. Allen was transported to the Wayne County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.
