The annual parade kicks off at 11 a.m. Sunday and will travel along Sixth Avenue from West 37th Street to West 55th Street. Thousands of people are expected to line the parade route, waving Dominican flags as merengue and bachata music fills Midtown. Once the parade gets underway, pedestrians will only be able to cross Sixth Avenue at the following locations: 39th Street, 42nd Street, 48th Street and 51st Street.
