PETALING JAYA : Kijal assemblyman Razali Idris has announced his resignation as Terengganu Bersatu chairman.
Razali said he submitted his resignation letter to party president Muhyiddin Yassin on July 16, Utusan Malaysia reported.
Razali, a state executive councillor, also confirmed that he would step down as Marang Bersatu chief in mid-September to complete various party matters at the divisional level first.
It also reported that state Bersatu deputy chairman Khazan Che Mat would soon step down from his post.
