(Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA : Ten state assemblymen have been appointed to the Negeri Sembilan executive council, comprising eight representatives from Barisan Nasional (BN) and two from Perikatan Nasional (PN). The appointment letters were presented by the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, at Istana Besar Seri Menanti this morning. Menteri besar Ismail Lasim, the Juasseh assemblyman from BN, was also present at the ceremony. Together, BN and PN secured 25 of the 36 seats in the state assembly, enabling them to form the new state government. He also revealed the portfolios for the rest of the exco members:
