(EPA Images pic)PETALING JAYA : Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) has ordered drug screening for all 1,260 Malaysia Airlines pilots following the detention of one of its officers in Indonesia over an alleged drug-smuggling attempt. It said pilots who fail to undergo the test within the stipulated period will be grounded until they are cleared. “MAG views the actions of the individual as completely unacceptable and contrary to the professional standards expected of its personnel,” it said. “Recruitment standards, background screening, operational supervision, monitoring of high-risk positions and professional conduct all deserve close examination,” he said in a statement.
