(Bernama pic)PUTRAJAYA : The Court of Appeal today overturned former radio presenter Ismahalil Hamzah’s acquittal in a cannabis trafficking case, sentencing him to 30 years in prison after finding him guilty. Justice Radzi Abdul Hamid, who delivered the unanimous decision of a three-member bench, said the prosecution had proven beyond reasonable doubt that Ismahalil had knowledge, custody and control of the drugs. He still has one avenue of appeal, as the case will proceed automatically to the Federal Court. “The totality of the evidence establishes that the accused had knowledge, custody and control of the drugs.
