(Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA : The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) is investigating certain people identified in the royal commission of inquiry (RCI) on Tabung Haji’s (TH) financial management. LHDN said the investigations were based on tax risk analysis, which found discrepancies between the reported income and asset ownership of those identified. The tax authority said it conducted raids on several premises to obtain information, review documents and verify facts in its probe, reported Bernama. The 252-page RCI report into TH’s management and operations from 2014 to 2020 was completed in July 2022 but only declassified last Wednesday.
