He will face either China’s Hu Zhe An or Zhu Xuan Chen in the semi-final tomorrow. The Malaysians won 21-7, 21-8 in 25 minutes and will face Japanese pair Haruki Kawabe-Kenta Matsukawa in the semi-final. Earlier, Tee Kai Wun-Yap Roy King booked their semi-final spot by defeating compatriots Aaron Chia-Aaron Tai.
