Glasgow City Council marked the National Day of Play, this week on Wednesday August 5, by highlighting how play is helping to shape a more inclusive city for future generations. When we design Glasgow's streets and parks through the eyes of a child, we create a much friendlier, safer city for every family. Another key example of this work was the Mud Pie Economy Day held in St Enoch Square during the International Day of Play in June. The pop-up play event transformed one of Glasgow's busiest civic spaces into a vibrant play environment, attracting hundreds of children and adults throughout the day.
