LAHORE – LUMS witnessed a tragic incident when a 2nd-year student Ahmed Adnan was discovered unresponsive in his hostel room, leaving classmates in shock and police searching for answers behind his sudden death. The student was found dead in the hostel of leading private university in Lahore’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA), triggering police inquiry as authorities await a postmortem report to determine the exact cause of death. The deceased, identified as Ahmed Adnan, was resident of Kasur and was studying under the university’s National Outreach Programme (NOP). He had been residing in the university hostel during his academic session. The university administration alerted authorities after the student was found unresponsive inside his hostel room.
