Mobile Health Units from the Irish Heart Foundation and Hidden Hearing will be at Thurles Livestock Mart on Monday offering free health checks to the public. Hidden Hearing will offer free earwax checks and video otoscopy to check ear health. On Monday, August 10th, both organisations’ Mobile Health Units will be parked at Mid Tipperary Co Operative Livestock Mart, Ballycurrane, Thurles, from 9:30am until 4:45pm. They can also ask for a free hearing health check provided by Hidden Hearing, with no appointment needed. Every year, the Irish Heart Foundation’s Mobile Health Unit offers up to 10,000 free blood pressure checks, helping to identify individuals who may be unaware of their hypertension.
