Makkah: Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and members of his high-level delegation performed Umrah in Makkah early on Friday, August 7, during their official visit to Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister’s Office said. Saudi visit focuses on strategic partnershipSharif’s visit to the Kingdom runs from Thursday, August 6, to Saturday, August 8, and includes talks with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. Islamabad has also backed Saudi Arabia’s proposed Multinational Maritime Defence Coalition aimed at protecting commercial shipping through the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
