A tailor is standing trial after being accused of becoming involved in a drug trafficking operation, according to court documents. During an evening operation, officers observed the suspect behaving suspiciously and attempting to hide an item on the roadside. The concealed item was found to be a glass container holding a liquid suspected to be a narcotic, weighing approximately 41.70 grams. Investigations indicated that the case was linked to an organised network involved in smuggling narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances into Bahrain for trafficking. The High Criminal Court has scheduled August 11 to deliver its verdict in the case.
