Sydney’s largest marine and boating event has concluded another successful year, with thousands of visitors descending on Sydney Showground over four days to celebrate the very best in boating, fishing and outdoor adventure. Building upon a legacy of major boat shows dating back to 1960 in the NSW capital, the 2026 Sydney Boat Show transformed Sydney Showground into Australia’s largest off-water marine showcase from 30 July to 2 August. BIA Chief Executive, Andrew Fielding, reported increased attendance compared to last year, with positive industry responses highlighting the resilience and strength of Australia’s marine sector. The event was supported by partners like Transport for NSW, Anaconda, and GMSV, promoting safe boating and marine career opportunities. Sydney Boat Show is proudly owned by the BIA and continues to celebrate the boating lifestyle through innovation and community engagement.
