Uzbekistan and South Korea reviewed progress on a flagship digital government project during talks in Tashkent, reaffirming their commitment to expanding cooperation in digital transformation and e-government development.
The delegation also included Kang Sangjin, Chief Representative of the Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) in Uzbekistan, and Lee Woosung, Director General of RISTI Consulting.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the "Establishment of an Integrated Data Center for Electronic Government" project.
The participants also discussed mechanisms to strengthen cooperation throughout the project's remaining phases and explored opportunities to expand collaboration in digital government, including the introduction of advanced digital technologies into public administration.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to maintaining close cooperation and advancing mutually beneficial digital initiatives in the years ahead.
