Tajikistan and Oman have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations during high-level diplomatic talks in Muscat, underscoring their shared interest in expanding political dialogue and deepening cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
According to the Tajik Foreign Ministry, the sides exchanged views on key issues on the bilateral agenda and reviewed the current state and prospects of relations between Tajikistan and Oman.
"The parties exchanged views on current issues related to the bilateral agenda between Tajikistan and Oman," the Tajik Foreign Ministry said following the meeting.
Relations between Tajikistan and Oman have gradually expanded in recent years, with both countries expressing interest in enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, culture, and education, alongside broader political engagement.
Oman is viewed as a potential partner for Tajikistan in fostering closer economic links with the Gulf region, while Tajikistan seeks to diversify its international partnerships and attract new investment.
