Bluecastle Capital has lodged plans to replace a former Marks & Spencer store with 729 build-to-rent homes in a tower that could become Birmingham’s tallest building.
Plans for a 53-storey residential tower in Birmingham city centre have been submitted by developer Bluecastle Capital.
Plans lodged with Birmingham City Council showed the tower could reach about 172 metres, potentially making it Birmingham’s tallest building.
The site is close to Moor Street station and the Grimshaw-designed Birmingham Curzon Street station being developed for High Speed 2.
