The potential annual loss in tax revenue due to this exodus is estimated to be around 1.2 billion shekels.
The number of Israelis emigrating has surged by approximately 50% compared to the years before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Similarly, the healthcare industry has seen an exodus grow by more than 100%, particularly involving physicians and other well-compensated professionals.
