YEA to expand youth employment opportunities in Western North – Malik Basintale

The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Malik Basintale, has reaffirmed the Agency's commitment to expanding employment opportunities for young people across Ghana, with particular attention to the Western North Region.
Mr Basintale gave the assurance on Wednesday, August 6, during a courtesy call on the Western North Regional Minister, Wilbert Petty Brentum, at the Regional Coordinating Council ahead of a staff durbar in the region.
Welcoming the YEA delegation, Mr Brentum described Western North as one of Ghana's most peaceful and hospitable regions.
The Regional Minister appealed to the YEA to prioritise Western North in the implementation of its employment and empowerment programmes.
Responding, Mr Basintale thanked the Regional Minister and the people of Western North for the warm reception, reaffirming the Agency's resolve to ensure that employment opportunities are available to young people across the country, regardless of their location.
