A Nelson County man “dancing in the roadway” and allegedly growing over a dozen marijuana plants has been arrested. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office said that on Wednesday evening at approximately 8:20, deputies responded to Stringtown Road in Bardstown “in reference to a male subject dancing in the roadway.” When police arrived at the scene, they made contact with 53-year-old Jonathan L. Smith, of Bardstown, at a residence. “While speaking with Smith, deputies observed several marijuana plants in the yard. He is being held on a $20,000 cash bond.
