The payout comprised €3m from the Sligo Park Hotel and €2.2m from the Mespil Hotel for the 12-month period ending September 2025. The group’s turnover increased by 5.3 pc to €25.3m during this period, with pre-tax profits rising 12.7 pc to €5.85m. The Mespil Hotel employed an average of 250 people last year, paying €7.9m in wages and salaries, while the Sligo Park Hotel employed 126 staff with a total wage bill of €3.4m. The Sligo Park Hotel increased director remuneration by 11.2 pc to €386,050, while the Mespil Hotel saw a 27.2 pc cut in director payments to €592,500. The 136-room Sligo Park Hotel and 255-room Mespil Hotel continue to trade successfully in their respective markets, with the Dublin property benefiting from corporate business during weekdays and leisure tourists at weekends.
