Kolkata: West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission (WBCERC) has been reconstituted by the state government, with retired Calcutta High Court judge Justice Biswajit Bose appointed as its new chairperson, replacing outgoing chairperson retired Justice Ashim Kumar Banerjee. The newly reconstituted commission comprises 13 members, including senior doctors and experts from various fields. The members include:Dr. Subhash Chandra Biswas: A senior medical professional with over three decades of experience. Former Director of Medical Education (DME) and ex-officio Secretary of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal. Gautam Mohan Chakrabarti: Former Kolkata Police Commissioner, who has also been appointed as a member of the reconstituted commission.
