Details of a planning application submitted to Donegal County Council by Uisce Éireann for the Letterkenny and Inishowen Upgrade Project have been revealed. The application seeks permission for upgrades at Illies Water Treatment Plant, the construction of new treated water storage reservoirs at Burt and Knocknamona, and the installation of approximately 13km of new trunk water mains.
