Alaska-based Ryan Air has received a single Saab 340B(F) cargo aircraft from Jetstream Aviation Capital, adding to its existing fleet of Cessna and Pilatus aircraft. Lessor Jetstream Aviation Capital delivered the Saab 340B(F) to Ryan Air on August ,5 2026, for use on scheduled and chartered cargo operations throughout Western Alaska. On August 4, 2026, the Saab 340B(F) also flew from Great Falls International Airport (GTF) and Salina Regional Airport (SLN). Ryan Air is part of Saltchuk Aviation, which also owns Northern Air Cargo and Aloha Air Cargo. According to Ryan Air, in these circumstances, “air service is the only way to receive and send furniture, clothing, food, medical supplies, and more”.
