Mr Gatti’s Pizza has more than 200 locations open or are in development across Texas and the Southeastern US. Longtime Mr Gatti’s Pizza franchisee G. Brint Ryan has acquired the remaining ownership interest in the pizza chain. According to a statement, the move makes Ryan the “primary owner” of the Mr Gatti’s Pizza brand. The ownership change coincides with the planned retirement of Mr Gatti’s Pizza CEO Jim Phillips. Ryan is the founder and chairman of Texas-based company Ryan and has been a Mr Gatti’s franchisee for many years.
