The project, commissioned under the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu, covers three road sections with a combined length of about 900 metres.
Speaking at the commissioning, Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, said the project was completed within nine months and reflected the benefits of greater local government autonomy and improved grassroots development.
According to him, the project was made possible by deliberate efforts to strengthen local governments and improve infrastructure at the community level.
The commissioning attracted government officials, political leaders and traditional rulers, who commended the council for delivering infrastructure expected to improve transportation, boost economic activities and enhance residents’ quality of life.
The highlight of the event was the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, which formally opened the three road sections to motorists and residents.
