The incident happened between 11.50pm on Saturday, July 25, and 12.05am on Sunday, July 26. The man was attacked by an unknown individual while walking from St Michael’s Avenue towards Hawthorn Road. The assault is believed to have occurred somewhere along St John’s Road, St Michael’s Avenue, or Northbrook Road. Avon and Somerset Police said they have carried out house-to-house enquiries and reviewed CCTV footage as part of their investigation. Officers are now appealing to the public for information or footage that could assist their enquiries.
