It followed Wellington CIB executing a search warrant at an address in Karori on Wednesday. Police located evidence relating to the importation, manufacture, possession, and possession for supply of controlled drugs, including 4kg of dried material containing dimethyltryptamine (DMT), cannabis, and magic mushrooms. The man faces charges including attempts to import and possession for supply. He’s due to reappear in the Wellington District Court on 27 August.
