Police personnel deployed at the Chanderkote security checkpoint signalled the vehicle to stop, but the driver allegedly ignored the instructions and sped away at high speed. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban, Arun Gupta, who arrived at the scene to oversee the operation, said the suspicious Scorpio was later seized near Dalwas. "The district police have seized the suspicious Scorpio near Dalwas, and further investigation is underway. Security forces have intensified the search in the area, while the motive behind the vehicle's attempt to flee the security checkpoint remains unknown so far.
