DIG Harmanbir Singh Gill Appointed New Police Commissioner of AmritsarSenior 2010-batch IPS officer replaces Gurpreet Singh BhullarChandigarh: DIG Harmanbir Singh Gill of Border Range Amritsar has been appointed by the Punjab Government as the new Police Commissioner (CP) of Amritsar. He will be replaced into the role currently held by IPS officer Gurpreet Singh Bhullar. Harmanbir Singh Gill is recognised as a senior IPS officer of the 2010 batch. Services are currently being rendered by him as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Border Range in Amritsar, and additional charge of the post of Police Commissioner (CP) of Amritsar is also being held by him. Prior to this posting, important administrative positions such as DIG Ferozepur Range, PAP Jalandhar, and IRB Patiala have also been held by him.
