The Board of the Economic Development Board (EDB), at its meetings held on 25 and 31 July 2026, approved a series of strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating investment, boosting exports, enhancing business facilitation and supporting economic transformation.
Driving investment and export through a Focused Action PlanThe Board approved the EDB Action Plan for FY 2026/2027, aligned with the national theme “Building a Future-Ready Mauritius.”
6.Promoting the Creative EconomyThe Board approved three projects under the Film Rebate Scheme, further supporting the development of the audiovisual and creative industries.
The approved projects are If I Can Fly, Another Name for Love and Guddan Gupta Tumse.
The EDB remains committed to working closely with public and private sector stakeholders to accelerate project implementation and unlock investment opportunities.
