The City of Riverside continues to progress through early steps to add the estimated $30 to $33 million Blackjack Beach and RV Waterpark Resort.
After the Washington County Board of Supervisors signed off on a development review, inspection, and code enforcement agreement in July, the Riverside City Council has done the same.
So the property that that resort is being built on is currently in Washington County, not in the Riverside city limits.
The project plans call for 154 RV parking spots, a clubhouse building of over 14,000 square feet, and an over 70,000 square foot waterpark resort.
The next Riverside City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 17th at 6 p.m. at Riverside City Hall.
