A three-story house in Lone Tree caught fire Wednesday afternoon. At approximately 2:57 p.m. Wednesday, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a structure fire in the 400 block of East Jayne Street in Lone Tree. According to Lone Tree Fire Chief Matt Zadow, the cause of the fire remains under investigation. Upon arriving at the scene, the Lone Tree Fire Department found one occupant in the structure on the third floor just outside the attic. Also assisting the Lone Tree Fire Department was the Hills Fire Department, Nichols Fire Department, Johnson County Ambulance, and UI Med 1.
