Plenty of exciting things are ahead for WACO activities and athletics. Despite some setbacks, primarily a storm during the spring season that destroyed the press box at Roth Field, the district has been able to move forward on several key projects. WACO activities director Chad Edeker says the number one thing he’s been asked about has been the district’s new press box and when it will be completed. He says that they are hopeful that the new press box will be completed in time for the Warriors’ first home game August 28th against Central City. The district is going to able to convert the former shop area into a new, larger wrestling room.
