Malta is set for another spell of intense summer heat, with the Meteorological Office forecasting ‘feels like’ temperatures of 40°C or higher from Sunday through Thursday. Although actual temperatures are expected to reach 36°C to 37°C, the combination of heat, humidity and light winds will make conditions feel even hotter, with apparent temperatures climbing to 40°C and 41°C. The forecast comes as the Meteorological Office has issued an orange high temperature warning from 8th to 12th August, warning that maximum temperatures are expected to remain between 36°C and 37°C throughout the period.
