At about 9pm on Thursday, August 6, police were alerted by the ambulance service to an address on Alder Close, Pelton. She remains in hospital this morning where her condition is described as stable. The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) has confirmed they attended the incident and took one person to hospital. Any witnesses to the incident are asked to call Durham Police on 101, quoting incident number 470 of August 6.
