Friday starts off settled and cool, with the small hours staying dry and temperatures around 13C at midnight, slipping to 12C through the pre‑dawn period. By breakfast time it stays largely dry, temperatures edging back to 13C by 7am before climbing through the morning to 15C at 8am and 17C by 9am. Into the evening it stays warm and mostly dry, temperatures holding at 23C at 6pm before easing back to 20C by 8pm and 18C by 11pm. The risk of rain edges up slightly to around 20 per cent late on, but many places stay dry. By late morning the shower risk eases to about 20 per cent as temperatures lift to 20C at 11am.
