Raleigh’s Design Review Commission decided Thursday not to vote on plans for a proposed 15-story tower in North Hills near Lassiter Mill Road and Interstate 440. According to city documents, Kane Realty requested that the city waive certain design requirements for the 15-story mixed-use building, called North Hills Tower II. “I chose my home because it had a nice view of North Hills. Designers also cited the need to keep retail space close to existing shops near The Circle at North Hills Street. Representatives with Kane Realty said they were not authorized to comment on the outcome of the meeting.
