Nigeria, Mali pledge stronger ties as Ambassador Chima presents credentials

The Ambassador-Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Mali, Amb.
Geoffrey Ijomah David Chima, has presented copies of his Letters of Credence to Mali’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdoulaye Diop, in Bamako.
During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening diplomatic consultation mechanisms to promote a more productive and mutually beneficial South-South partnership.
They also discussed the evolving geopolitical situation in the sub-region, with particular emphasis on enhancing collaboration in the fight against terrorism and other security threats.
