England international Ivan Toney has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm following an alleged altercation at a London nightclub. The 30-year-old Al-Ahli striker was charged by police last Thursday over an incident that allegedly took place at 100 Wardour Street in Soho on December 6. Toney, who joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli from Brentford in August 2024, has remained on unconditional bail since his arrest shortly after the incident. “One of them recognised him and said, ‘Oh, it’s Ivan Toney’ and tried to put his hands around his neck to get a photo with him. The legal proceedings come only weeks after Toney represented England at the FIFA World Cup in the United States.
