On the official White House Instagram, they shared four images, showing Spider-Man’s hand shooting out a web, captioned: ‘Your friendly neighbourhood ICE agents.’ The superhero’s web captures a group of men, then, in another image, an ICE officer is seen standing over the men. All are listed as ‘illegal’ with their ‘weakness’ symbol shown as ice, a reference both to typings for Pokémon and to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), whose officers carry out immigration raids. The Pokémon Company International confirmed to Metro that the company was not involved in the distribution of the video.
