Though Swinney doesn’t expect Guthrie to play this year, Swinney believes he will still “learn a lot” in Year 1 with the Tigers. Guthrie enrolled at Clemson this summer. He’ll work his way back as the season goes, but don’t anticipate him being able to play this season. Streko, who opted to walk on at Clemson in 2023 over scholarship offers from several FBS programs, has rushed twice for 15 yards in six career game appearances. Besides Streko and Guthrie, Swinney says his team is in “great shape” from an injury standpoint heading into fall camp.
