Amateur growers battling the elements or bugs can get top tips when the evergreen Radio 4 Gardeners’ Question Time team visits the Forest this month for a diamond date. They will arrive in the village of Minstead in advance of the 75th anniversary of the Minstead Flower, Fruit and Vegetable Show, and be ready to help with any gardening-related questions. Minstead flower show will feature on national radio with Gardeners' Question TimeThe recording of the BBC programme will take place at the village hall on Tuesday 25th August, with doors opening at 5pm to give the audience time to compose their questions for the panel. It will be a chance to gain some hints and tips about how to salvage salvias or reinvigorate soil.
