Tripledot Studios has acquired mobile publisher Supersonic from Unity for $40 million. Supersonic became part of Unity in 2022 through an all-stock merger with IronSource valued at $4.4 billion. "Joining Tripledot means finding a new home built specifically around scaled game publishing, with the capital, technology, and user acquisition expertise," Supersonic CEO Igor Bereslavski told GamesBeat. Together with Lion Studios, we can now partner with more studios, in more markets, with better technology behind it. We are delighted to welcome the Supersonic team to the Group."
