The Missouri Western State University Alumni Association will honor nine individuals at its annual Alumni Award Banquet on Oct. 9th at the MoWest Fulkerson Center. The Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented to Shawn P. Malone and Kimberly Weddle for their career and professional achievements. Dr. Pam Clary will receive the Distinguished Faculty Award, while Makenna Snyder Hood will be honored with the Graduate of the Last Decade (Gold) Award. Rick Leahy will receive the Herb ’35 and Peggy Iffery Award for Outstanding Service to the University, and Philana Blakely, Shawn Jackson, and Richard Rocha will be recognized with the Great Griffon Awards. Maya Burnsides will receive the Alumni Student Leadership Award.
