Boost for Durban’s informal economyAccording to the municipality, the Mansel Road Market Development forms part of a broader programme to modernise informal trading infrastructure and build a more inclusive local economy.
The first phase of the development includes several improvements designed to create a safer and more business-friendly environment for traders.
As part of the launch, 53 newly selected Church Walk traders have received official trading permits.
