Hyderabad-based EYVA study links late nights to poorer next-day metabolic wellnessAn analysis of 35 lakh wellness scans by EYVA suggests that late dinners, poor sleep and irregular evening routines may negatively influence next-morning metabolic wellness.
By T Ivan Nischal Published Date - 7 August 2026, 04:32 PMHyderabad: Late nights, heavy dinners and inadequate sleep may be silently affecting metabolic wellness scores the next morning, according to an analysis of Hyderabad-based metabolic wellness tracker EYVA.
EYVA, a touch-based metabolic wellness tracking platform, said many people regularly monitor parameters such as steps, sleep, calories and screen time but have little understanding of their metabolic wellness on a day-to-day basis.
Sunil Maddikatla, Founder and CEO, EYVA, emphasised the worrying trend of “metabolic blindness”, referring to a person’s total lack of awareness regarding their internal metabolic wellness.
EYVA describes the next-day effects of late dinners and poor sleep as a “metabolic hangover”.
